Hazard Perception Test (HPT)

This will include 14 short film clips where you will have to identify 15 scoreable hazards.

Each hazard will require you to take some form of action such as change speed or direction which is done by clicking the left or right mouse button. Read the road and click when you see a potential hazard developing.

You will only be able to see the film clip once.
You will be marked on the number of hazards that you correctly identify, each hazard is marked from one to five, the sooner you see the hazard the higher your score. If you randomly click the mouse button then you will receive a zero score.

You must score 44 out of a possible 75 to pass the Hazard Perception Test.
A lot of things in the Theory Test books will become obvious when driving. I will help you to understand the rules of the road, the road markings and the road signs, what to do at junctions and a lot more which will make your theory test preparation much easier!

Note: You will have to pass both the Theory and the Hazard Perception Tests
before booking your Practical Test.
From the date you pass you have 2 years to take and pass your practical driving test.
